Xenia Goodwin plays Tara Webster. Born in Sydney, Xenia started dancing at the age of nine. In 2009, she was accepted into full-time training at the Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy. Xenia is primarily a ballet dancer, but she has also trained in contemporary dance, national character, Spanish, and jazz. In 2008, she was selected to compete at the Sydney School Dance Competition. Dance Academy is her first television show.
The weirdest food combination Xenia has ever eaten in her opinion is toast with bacon, maple syrup and tomatoes.
Xenia's ideal superpower is to fly.
Xenia's most treasured possession is a ring passed down from her mother that was given to her by her best friend.
The top five things on her bucket list are (in order) to learn French, skydive, go scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef, see the Egyptian pyramids and to live somewhere abroad.
She would love to do a future film because acting is growing on her.
"As much as a performance is for the audience, remember it's for you as well. How you're feeling on stage really comes across to the audience." (On not forgetting yourself when in the spotlight)
"Yes I know, with the bright lights and all you mightn't be able to see the spectators, but don't be shy to look directly into the crowd. An appreciates it when you connect with them." (On making eye contact during a performance)
