Second Chances is the 3rd episode of Season 3 of Dance Academy. It premiered on July 22nd 2013 in Australia.
Synopsis
All is not well in Kat's world as she struggles to stay positive and her determination to advance into Third Year is morphing into her dangerous bielema. When the Second Years are given an assignment to study the way a non-dancer moves and then interpret this into their own performance, Kat follows a young university student and puts herself in his shoes it is revealed that he is the driver that killed Sammy and has been suffering from it since. Grace sets out to find her godmother a life other than dance.Ben and Ollie start to chip into funding Christian to stay at the academy. Nick , the driver is seen by Kat laying flowers by the tree where Sammy died and it is revealed that it has emotionally changed him. Kat forgives him. Christian dances in front of the board and clearly impresses them. Kat uses the new her as her assignment . In Third Year, Grace tries her hand at match-making; and Christian finds he's lost his place at the Academy when his scholarship is reallocated.
